The stalled thrust of thrusters is high, and the thrusters come pre-filled with 1.5 litres of specially formulated hydraulic oil that performs reliably across a wide temperature range. Composition and working : A hydraulic thruster contains an AC electric motor running at speeds up to 3000 rpm. The output shaft of the motor is fitted to the impellor in the thrustor cylinder. The cylinder is made of cast iron and the oil chamber is made out of aluminium. The cylinder is ground finished for the movement of the piston. The impellor housing and the impellor are made out of aluminium casting. The piston rod is made out of alloy steel EN 24 fully machined and ground.
